2020-2021 Enrollment to Open March 15th
For the 2020-2021 school year Hope Lutheran School will continue our Expanded Academic Track. This track is designed to offer additional academic opportunities supplementing the normal instructional day. With this change we will now have 4 days of extended academic instruction (8:00 a.m. – 4:05 p.m.), followed by an optional Expanded Track (4:05 p.m.- 5:30 p.m.), supplemented with an optional Friday Day-Camp.
There are, however, a couple of changes for you to be aware of this year.
- We are switching to a flat fee for the year for milk. The Milk Fee will be $35 and cover one milk per day for the entire year. Milk has steadily increased in price while we have held firm to the 25 cents per milk price. Many of our parents expressed frustration at small charges of $2.50 showing up on their accounts. This change will eliminate that hassle.
- All programs will move to the four-day model including Kindergarten and Early Childhood. There will still be Friday options for all students.
- The hot lunch program next year will move to four days per week.
- Finally, after years of debate, the staff of Hope Lutheran School have decided to adopt a School Uniform Policy. We want to be as flexible as we can, please speak to the School Administrator with any questions or concerns.
Because of the optional Expanded Track we are able to virtually eliminate the need for after-school care. This means that many families will now find that they can afford to provide their children with a high-quality, Christian-based education for about the same price as they are currently paying for many after-school programs.
